Human Factors Course
Join our 3 day Human Factors course inspired by Safety Science, and relevant for all personnel in safety-critical industries. On this course we will dig into the history of Human Factors and what this means to the design of work in safety-critical industries today. In an effort to expand the perspective around safety we create discussions around questions like; What is human error? What does safety mean in your organisation? What does resilience mean? Is Just Culture really ‘just’ in your organisation?
Through case studies and exercises we will discuss the role of the human, and influences of organisational and regulatory constraints to the system as a whole. We will discuss how concepts such as Resilience Engineering and Safety-II might assist, support, and contribute to the work of safety
